I discovered The Marion Motor Lodge in 1991, on my second "solitary" trip to St Augustine. I went into my room, settled in and decided I had found my "St Augustine" home. I have stayed there ever since. The Marion Motor Lodge has everything I need - location, atmosphere, great acommodations and the friendliest people in the city!


The owners of the Marion Motor Lodge have become my "St Augustine family" and they make every stay there special for me. Even after all these years of my comings and goings, they still treat me like an honored guest and go out of their way to make my visits perfect.

I couldn't have designed a better place to stay in St Augustine. I love sitting outside my room in the evenings and watching the fish jumping in the bay and the sweep of the St Augustine Light as it swings round through the night.

The Marion Motor Lodge is family owned and operated, and has been so since 1979. Its rooms are attractively furnished, with a lovely view of Matanzas Bay. Guests soak up the Florida sunshine from the wide sundeck while watching boats come and go through the Bridge of Lions.

The pool is immaculately clean and inviting; sparkling in the Florida sunshine. Enjoy a swim and then a leisurely stroll to one of many of St Augustine's finest restaurants. The Marion Motor Lodge is well within easy walking distance of dining, shopping and sightseeing. It's right in the heart of the historic district.

The best way to see St Augustine is to put on a good pair of walking shoes and head out! The Marion Motor Lodge is the perfect place to stay in order to explore the city bit by bit, on foot, without having to worry about finding a place to park, or finding your car later. If you've had a big day sightseeing and don't want to go far for dinner, there are several excellent restaurants within just a block, some with live entertainment.

The Marion Motor Lodge is right around the corner from historic Aviles Street and its unique shops and attractions. Visit wonderful places like Reflections Of A Lifetime Gallery, The Ximinex-Fatio House, The Father Miguel O'Reilly House and The Spanish Military Hospital, all within a ten-minute stroll from your room!
